Acumed Advanced: EMEA Elbow Pre-Fractured Cadaveric Course

Event Overview
The Acumed Advanced course will provide the opportunity for experienced elbow surgeons to treat complex elbow fractures using the Acumed Elbow Plating System and Anatomic Radial Head Solutions 2 System in state-of-the-art facilities on pre-fractured specimens. Our expert faculty and attendees will run through current challenges facing orthopedic surgeons in elbow fracture fixation, design of Acumed’s systems and tips & tricks using expert clinical experience.
Target Audience
This intimate, high-level cadaveric course is intended for experienced practicing elbow surgeons from across EMEA. It is designed for surgeons wanting to treat complex distal humerus, olecranon, coronoid and radial head fractures.
Course Faculty
Prof. Roger van Riet
Professor Roger van Riet is a globally recognized orthopedic surgeon specializing in elbow pathology. Based in Belgium, he serves as a consultant at AZ Monica and the University Hospital Antwerp. He is a pioneer in arthroscopic elbow surgery and has developed innovative techniques for treating elbow instability and tendon repair, making him a sought-after expert among athletes, including Olympic champions.
Mr. Lee van Rensburg
Mr. Lee van Rensburg is a distinguished figure in the field of orthopedic surgery, with a particular focus on shoulder and elbow conditions. Based at Addenbrookes Hospital, UK, he is highly regarded for his expertise in both operative and non-operative management of complex upper limb disorders. His practice emphasizes advanced techniques, including arthroscopy and reconstructive procedures, aimed at restoring function and improving patient outcomes.
